2017 DATE:  TBA  NOTE: Venue and Route may be changing from 2016

(ARCHIVE) Saturday, August 20, 2016 @ 9:00 am  165 riders registered

DISTANCE:  This is a new (maximum) 30.0 km ride in 2016.  Reduce your distance and enjoy a shorter ride if you choose!  The Clarkson Ride explored the Waterfront Trail west of Clarkson Road; this ride goes east, all the way to Etobicoke Creek and back.

MEET:  Birchwood Park Parking Lot off Clarkson Rd N (map)

FREE ICE CREAM: Dairy Queen, 1641 Lakeshore Rd West (map), east of Clarkson Rd (this is the ride's end point).

MARSHALLING:  There will be Marshals riding all along the route.  After the first 4.5 km (guided), ride at your own pace and turn-back whenever you choose.  All riders will receive Maps and Cue Sheets (or download the GPS).  Riders can stop any time along the route to rest and enjoy the waterfront parks and scenery!

NOTE: The FREE Community Rides are a series of casual cycling tours in all corners of Mississauga from May until October. Led by citizen member volunteers of the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee (MCAC), group rides are an opportunity for residents to explore Mississauga on their bikes.
