Community Ride: Heartland

2017 DATE:  TBA  NOTE: Venue and Route may be changing from 2016

(ARCHIVE) Sunday, September 11, 2016 @ 9:30 am.  95 riders registered

MEET / END:  Marble Slab Creamery, 5955 Latimer Drive (map) at Britannia Road West (west of Mavis Road).  Parking is available in the plaza parking lot.

NOTE:  After we all start off and complete the first few kilometres, ride at your own pace and turn-back whenever you feel the need.  Marshals will be all along the route -- ride with them if you like, or in your own group.  All riders will receive hard-copy Maps and Cue Sheets (or download GPS, below).

FEATURES:  The main route includes unpaved sections of the Fletcher's Creek Trail and the Etobicoke Creek Trail.

NOTE: The FREE Community Rides are a series of casual cycling tours in all corners of Mississauga from May until October. Led by citizen member volunteers of the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee (MCAC), group rides are an opportunity for residents to explore Mississauga on their bikes.

RIDE WITH GPS!  [Distance: 29.5 km round-trip for the full 'Trails' route; 28.7 km for the all-paved alternate route]
