Community Ride: Clarkson / Lorne Park

MEET:  Birchwood Park Parking Lot off Clarkson Rd N (map)

FREE ICE CREAM: Dairy Queen, 1641 Lakeshore Rd West (map), east of Clarkson Rd (after the ride; this is the end point)

FEATURES:  Two (2) museums (Benares Historic House and the Bradley Museum), the recently developed Lakeside Park on the waterfront, and the restored Holcim Waterfront Estate.  We ride past the entrance to the Rattray Marsh Conservation Area (no cycling is allowed in the Marsh).

NOTE: The FREE Community Rides are a series of casual cycling tours in all corners of Mississauga from May until October. Led by citizen member volunteers of the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee (MCAC), these group rides are an opportunity for residents to explore Mississauga on their bikes. The 2016 Community Rides series is sponsored by Toronto Pearson Airport.
